Tragic Construction Site Accident in Brighton – Worker Crushed by Dump Truck

In a tragic incident in Brighton, Colorado, a 65-year-old construction worker, whose identity is pending release from the Adams County Coroner’s Office, lost his life in a construction site accident. The event occurred near East 144th Avenue and Primrose Circle at around 9:30 a.m. on Friday. As per reports from the Brighton Police Department, the victim was fatally injured when he was run over by a dump truck that was reversing. The truck was being operated by a 46-year-old colleague, who has been arrested on charges of careless driving causing death. Despite the arrest, the driver was noted to be cooperative with law enforcement and did not exhibit signs of impairment.

Responding swiftly to the incident, Brighton Police arrived at the scene to find the victim unresponsive. The construction site, earmarked for a housing development, has now become the center of an ongoing investigation into this tragic event.
